RMD Technology began in 2009 from the merger of two IT businesses, one born from SME systems integration and another from the delivery of projects and consultancy. Efficiencies gained through combining these complementary businesses allowed for greater technical and sales strength which has produced sustainable growth within both markets.
This growth enabled us to strengthen and diversify our service delivery capacity. Responding to expanding technical requirements within our customer base and wider market, we invested in infrastructure to allow the supply of WAN connectivity services in 2014, expanding into data centre hosting and IP telephony soon after.
With a national IP network in place, combined with a wealth of infrastructure solution design experience, we developed a range of hosted infrastructure services to drive maximum value from the network for both customers and RMD Technology.
We still maintain a mix of SME and Enterprise clients and continue to leverage the expertise and experience gained in one market to better service the other. By investing the time up front to undertake technical due diligence and gain an understanding of the customer’s business and the industry in which it operates, we have been able to gain greater mind share with clients. This mind share, together with communicating complicated solutions in straight forward, understandable terms has been responsible for RMD Technology’s success.
RMD Technology still maintains the same agility in supporting clients from its beginnings in 2001 but now has greater depth and strength across all areas of the business.
